The Haraya Process
Every placement Haraya makes follows a clear, structured process designed to give Australian employers confidence in the candidates they meet, and to give Filipino professionals the support they need to make their move to Australia a success.
Step 1: Understanding Your Needs
We begin by working closely with the Australian healthcare organisation to understand the vacancy, the clinical setting, the team culture, and the qualities they are looking for in a candidate. A client services agreement is signed before any candidate profiles are shared, establishing the commission terms and rebate conditions upfront.
Step 2: Sourcing and Screening
Haraya sources and identifies suitable candidates from the Filipino allied health community, conducting initial outreach and screening assessments online. We evaluate candidates on their qualifications, English proficiency, professional values, and genuine readiness to pursue a career in Australia. Shortlisted candidates are then referred to Cander, our trusted onshore partner in the Philippines, for in-person interviews and on-the-ground verification before being presented to employers.
Step 3: Candidate Presentation
Haraya presents a curated shortlist of pre-screened candidate profiles to the Australian employer. The employer reviews the pool, selects the candidates they wish to meet, and conducts their own interviews and assessments directly and in their own time.
Step 4: Hiring Decision
The employer makes their hiring decision entirely independently. Haraya's placement commission becomes payable only upon a successful hire.
Step 5: Registration and Exam Preparation (Cander)
Once a candidate receives a job offer, Cander, our Philippine-based partner, takes the lead on supporting them through the Australian professional registration process. This includes booking the required English proficiency exams, coordinating skills assessments with the relevant Australian professional body, and guiding the candidate through every registration requirement. This process typically takes between two and twelve months, depending on occupation, and requires careful planning and consistent on-the-ground support, which Cander provides in the Philippines throughout.
Step 6: Visa and Migration
With registration milestones underway or completed, the candidate engages a MARA-registered migration agent independently to manage their visa application. Haraya and Cander can refer candidates to trusted migration agents but do not provide migration advice directly.
Step 7: Arrival and Commencement
The candidate arrives in Australia and commences employment. Haraya remains available to both the employer and the candidate during the initial settlement period to ensure everything runs smoothly until the end of 90 days.
